Actor Verne Troyer is the favourite to win Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother, according to bookmakers.

Ladbrokes are offering 4/9 odds for the 40-year-old star - best known for playing Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies - to win the reality TV show.

He has been favourite to win throughout the three-week series.

Coolio, Terry Christian and Ben Adams have also avoided being booted out of the house, along with Ulrika Jonsson, the only woman contestant left.

Eleven housemates entered the show's compound three weeks ago and the public have whittled them down to the final five by voting out the others.

Troyer is only two feet eight inches tall and is one of the smallest men in the world.

Highlights of the star inside the house include his performance of Endless Love with Jonsson and him driving his scooter round erratically after having too much to drink.

Singer LaToya Jackson and politician Tommy Sheridan were both booted out of the house on Wednesday in a surprise double eviction.

Glamour model Lucy Pinder was the first housemate to be sent home and former Sugababe star Mutya Buena walked out in the second week.

The first eviction show starts on Channel 4 at 2030 GMT and the second follows at 2200 GMT.
