Singer Justin Timberlake has topped GQ magazine's list of the 10 most stylish men in America.
The star was praised for his impact on fashion and "knack for targeting trends" such as hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and beards.
The 28-year-old launched his own clothing line, called William Rast, in October 2006.
Music producer Mark Ronson took the number two spot and photographer Alexi Lubomirski made third on the list.
Rappers Kanye West and TI also featured in the top 10 along with actor Jason Schwartzman.
In the March issue of the magazine, Timberlake says he got his sense of style from his stepfather, Paul Harless, a banker who laid out his suit for the next morning every night and went to work looking "like Richard Gere in [American] Gigolo".
"I was like, I want to dress like that! He was just so cool," he says.
He also told GQ he considered model Kate Moss a style icon because she "could put a barrel on and it would be some sort of statement".
Numerous celebrities have been seen wearing items from Timberlake's clothing line including Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton and Eddie Murphy.
As well as being best known for a range of jeans, the label also produces other items including jackets, vests and graphic T-shirts.
