"Shameless" actress Tina Malone is the latest contestant to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house

The 46-year-old, who plays Mimi Maguire in the Channel 4 drama, screamed "Yes!" when her name was announced.

The outspoken Liverpudlian had been the bookmakers' favourite to go with Ladbrokes giving her odds of just 1/10.

She was up for nomination in the public vote along with TV personality Ulrika Jonsson and pop stars Mutya Buena and Michelle Heaton.

Malone had predicted she was going to leave after the group failed a task because her ballet performance with broadcaster Terry Christian did not receive enough hits on the programme's website.

She hugged Jonsson and said: "Oh, I'm so glad; I told you I was going to go - I'm made up."

The eviction comes as media watchdog Ofcom confirmed it was investigating complaints about the behaviour of 1990s rap star Coolio on the reality show.

He has been accused of bullying female housemates, including one occasion where he teased Heaton about being in love with fellow contestant Ben Adams - reducing her to tears.

In the latest feud, Coolio went toe to toe with Jonsson and Malone over the group's shopping list.
