Former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton became the fourth contestant to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house after a surprise eviction.

Viewers spared TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson in a vote between the two.

News of Heaton's eviction was sprung as the housemates began watching a film they had created about their time in the house.

Her departure leaves seven celebrities battling to win the series, which ends on Friday.

The singer had earlier said she wanted to leave before Friday's final show.

During her two weeks in the house, she has had a number of run-ins with American rapper Coolio, whom she had accused of showing a bullying attitude towards her and the other female housemates.

Afterwards, she said: "He has a disrespectful attitude towards women. I didn't like the way he rubbed himself up on us."

Infatuated

She said Jonsson had been a good friend in the house but laughed off the other housemates' speculation that she was infatuated with singer Ben Adams.

Having left the house to a mixture of boos and cheers, Heaton said the reception was "better than she thought" it would be.

She said she had a feeling that an unannounced eviction was on the cards.

"I knew something was going to happen. It's nice to come out like this because I didn't feel nervous all day."
